Job summary

Lumicera seeks a Director, Analytics and Data to lead the remote analytics organization, shaping data strategy and governance while delivering trusted data products and analytics capabilities across the enterprise.

You will manage a team of analytics professionals and partner with executives, technology, finance, and clinical operations to align data initiatives with business outcomes and AI-enabled transformation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
10+ years of progressive experience in Data, Analytics, BI, or Data Platform capabilities within a complex enterprise environment, required.
5+ years of progressive leadership experience including leading technical or analytical teams, required.
Experience delivering enterprise data platforms, data pipelines, data models, dashboards, and governed self-service analytics, required.
Knowledge of cloud data platforms, modern data architecture, BI, AI readiness, and data foundations for AI, required.
Experience with data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, stewardship, access, and privacy, required.
Experience translating business priorities into measurable analytical outcomes for executives and operations, required.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the data and analytics strategy, operating model, roadmap, and investment priorities aligned with Lumicera objectives.
Lead and develop the data and analytics team, establish accountability, manage capacity and performance.
Own delivery and improvement of enterprise data products, reporting, dashboards, semantic models, and analytics solutions.
Advance the Data Lakehouse and related data platforms with improved integration and scalable governance.
Establish data governance practices for ownership, quality, lineage, metadata, privacy, and access.
Create intake and prioritization process linking analytics demand to strategic value and regulatory needs.
Improve reporting by reducing redundant assets and promoting governed self-service.
Partner with leaders to translate strategic questions into data products, insights, forecasts, and metrics.
Enable advanced analytics and AI by improving data readiness and monitoring data outcomes.
Manage data and analytics vendors, budgets, and platform decisions to maximize value.
