Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director of Commercial Lines to lead national operations, optimize agency workflows, and support M&A integration. The role requires active P&C licensure, 5–7+ years in a large brokerage environment, and strong leadership in process standardization.

The position offers fully remote work with occasional onsite requirements per policy, and a focus on driving performance across the Commercial P&C operating model.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Experience in workflow standardization and process optimization.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvement to increase productivity and client outcomes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Align Managed Services with organizational goals.
• Provide national SME guidance on agency operations and systems.
• Support M&A integration through planning and standardization.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership.
