Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations with a strong emphasis on workflow standardization and process optimization. The role requires 5–7+ years in a large brokerage/agency and an active P&C license, CPCU or CIC preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership at a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives to strengthen operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement projects to boost productivity and consistency.
• Analyze staffing, workload, and service demands to support growth.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and alignment.
• Guide producers, account teams, and leaders on best practices and tools.
• Promote EPIC usage and advanced reporting across the organization.
