Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking a Director, Head of Commercial Learning & Development to set strategy and oversee enterprise training for field and in-house teams. The role sits on the Extended LT and partners with operations and commercial leadership to close capability gaps and drive business impact.

Responsibilities include building a high-performing training team, developing programs across therapy areas, and managing agencies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive commercial experience in sales, clinical education, sales training, or marketing.
• 10+ years in Commercial Training.
• 7+ years Oncology experience.
• 7+ years training, capability-building, or commercial leadership.
• 5+ years leading and managing a team.
• Experience leading a commercial training function and enterprise capability strategies.
• Experience planning and delivering training at major events (POA, FEM, product launches).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Set the commercial training and capability-building strategy across the organization.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing commercial training team.
• Lead cross-functional development of training programs for therapy areas and accounts.
• Establish relationships with senior stakeholders and vendors to ensure delivery of programs.
• Own resource planning, governance, and program execution.
• Develop and embed a Learning Capabilities Measurement Plan to show business impact.
