Summit, a brand under Elior North America, seeks a Director of Business Development to drive new opportunities in Corrections, with remote work preferred for the Idaho/West region. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in new business development (hunter role).
• RFP processes experience in private and government sectors.
• Procurement/purchasing knowledge in government entities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems.
• Bachelor's degree (Marketing or Management preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, cooperation, and organizational skills.
• Strategic thinker with autonomous work style.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Sales Plan with targets and schedules.
• Build relationships with industry contacts through associations and agencies.
• Source new opportunities via inbound leads and outbound calls/emails.
• Plan/execute state shows, commodity shows, conferences, and events.
• Improve sales through effective bid management of opportunities.
• Contribute to long/short-term business goals.
• Monitor costs and manage budgets.
• Provide monthly management reporting and bid analysis.
