GAF is seeking a Director of Automation and Controls to guide the Automation & Controls team, partner with engineering, and drive continuous innovation across manufacturing facilities. This role shapes capital planning, while delivering operational support and cross-functional integration.

The position emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and evolving controls technologies to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions of Automation and Controls group.
• Contribute to 3 & 5 year capital plans for manufacturing.
• Integrate Automation and Controls with IT, Process Services, R&D, and other funcs.
• Manage capital projects, budget development, and financial reporting.
• Lead software identification and implementation for automation and controls.
• Ensure documentation and compliance for control systems.
