Job summary

Cascade Financial Services is seeking a Director of Processing to lead the processing department, including the Junior Processing team and training functions. You will own the strategy, remove roadblocks, and ensure fast, accurate file movement across agency, portfolio, chattel, and land-home products.

You will manage leaders, build a strong bench, and partner with executives to design an efficient fulfillment organization at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mortgage loan processing with leadership track record.
• Minimum 3 years of Processing Management Experience.
• Experience scaling a processing department with measurable results.
• Ability to lead leaders and build motivated teams that trust their manager.
• Strong knowledge across agency and portfolio products; quick learner for new areas.
• Comfortable using data to manage capacity, production, and quality.
• Excellent communication and hard decision-making skills.
• Manufactured Housing knowledge a plus; construction-to-perm experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall strategy for the processing department and set direction across product types.
• Develop and manage Processing Manager, Development Manager, and Operations Training Manager.
• Build leadership bench and coach managers for growth into bigger roles.
• Represent processing in origination, underwriting, and closing conversations.
• Roll out new systems and processes; onboard new service providers if needed.
• Use data to track production, turn times, quality, and capacity; rebalance as needed.
• Set monthly goals and ensure SLA-compliant processing per policy and guidelines.
• Lead hiring strategy, performance management, and retention for leaders.
