Job summary

Avanos Medical seeks a Director of Market Access & Reimbursement in Alpharetta, GA, or remote, to lead national payer strategy and health policy for IVP products including TRIDENT and COOLIEF. You will manage teams, develop tools, and drive market access initiatives to support sales and patient access.

The role requires 10+ years in medical device reimbursement and strong leadership, with extensive collaboration across payers, providers and CMS. 20-40% travel; relocation to Alpharetta preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of medical device reimbursement, third party billing experience, strategic marketing experience.
• Medical device industry experience required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Persuasive, self-driven and motivated.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
• Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau) and CRM applications (e.g., Salesforce.com).

Responsibilities

• Lead the national Market Access Reimbursement and Health Policy teams.
• Develop reimbursement tools for sales, physicians, facilities and payers.
• Create payer strategies to obtain favorable product reimbursement.
• Collaborate with payers, providers and value analysis committees to drive sales growth.
• Mentor education and sales teams on product benefits.
• Interact with FDA/CMS for coding and coverage.
