Job summary

NVA General Practice is seeking a Director of Legal Operations to lead the Legal, Compliance & Government Relations team. You will drive operational efficiency, define KPIs, and build scalable processes across a multi-site environment.

You will partner with leadership to implement a comprehensive legal technology roadmap, optimize outside counsel spend, and ensure audit readiness while supporting governance and risk initiatives. Travel is expected for key meetings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of legal operations experience.
• Experience with legal tech and process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Strategic thinking and execution, cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and continuous improvement of legal operations processes.
• Develop and execute a legal operations strategy aligned with priorities.
• Establish KPIs and track metrics for legal function.
• Develop a multi-year legal technology roadmap.
• Evaluate and manage legal tech solutions (CLM, e-billing, matter management).
• Drive adoption of workflow automation and analytics capabilities.
• Partner with IT for system integration and scalability.
• Streamline workflows and implement standard templates.
• Oversee outside counsel relationships and budget management.
• Support governance, compliance, and risk initiatives.
