Job summary

Danaher Corporation in the United States is seeking a Director, Legal Programs to lead complex Legal Operations initiatives, strengthen project management, and apply DBS-based operating routines to improve visibility and delivery across key Legal & Compliance priorities. This position reports to the Senior Director, Legal Operations within Corporate Legal and is remote, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional programs.
2+ years of experience leading people, coaching team members, or developing program management capabilities.
Experience establishing project governance, operating cadences, performance metrics, status reporting, and execution routines.
Experience applying DBS, Lean, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or similar methodologies.
Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives, stakeholders, risks, dependencies, and priorities and communicating to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead execution of complex Legal Operations initiatives by developing project plans, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring delivery against objectives.
Establish and maintain project governance, routines, and reporting mechanisms to improve visibility and execution.
Coach and support project managers and initiative leads to strengthen program management capability.
Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, DBS, and stakeholders to coordinate activities and sustain momentum across cross-functional workstreams.
Apply DBS tools and continuous improvement practices to improve processes and drive results.
