Job summary

Aligned Labs is seeking an experienced US-licensed attorney to lead our largest legal projects with key AI clients. You will report to the COO and shape how projects are structured to meet client needs, while guiding hundreds of senior attorneys and experts.

This is a strategic, operating role focused on scaling expert work at a remote-first company, with direct client engagement and high autonomy. Ideal candidates have top-tier litigation experience and fluency with AI tools.

Qualifications

• Licensed US attorney with 5+ years of practice.
• Experience supervising other attorneys and leading case teams.
• Strong client service orientation and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with AI tools and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for AI client relationships and expert operations.
• Own large-scale client engagements from kickoff to delivery with milestones and success metrics.
• Design onboarding and training processes for expert teams.
• Evaluate credentials and promote reviewers among senior attorneys.
• Audit deliverables and report on key performance metrics.
