Job summary

Acceleration Partners is seeking a Director, Influencer Strategy to lead and shape influencer programs, spanning from opportunity assessment to delivery. This senior, externally-facing role sits at the intersection of sales, client services, and delivery, ensuring programs are strategically sound and measurably successful.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in influencer marketing with strategy, program buildout or new business exposure.
• Ability to build and present influencer strategies in a business development or client-facing context.
• Deep knowledge of influencer/creator ecosystems across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Substack, and emerging channels.
• Willingness to learn about affiliate marketing and apply it.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce client-ready materials.
• Ability to synthesize and visualize information independently or with Design.
• Experience presenting to senior clients or speaking externally preferred.
• Travel ability for client meetings, team gatherings, and industry conferences.

Responsibilities

• Strategy-led sales enablement: partner with sales and delivery to build influencer strategies for proposals and RFPs.
• Program strategy & industry intelligence: define strategy grounded in research and competitive insights.
• Industry-leading reporting: add narrative context to client reports and identify upsell opportunities.
• Ongoing client support & upsell: provide strategic recommendations throughout the client lifecycle.
• AP marketing & external presence: contribute to thought leadership and external marketing efforts.
