Job summary

Acceleration Partners is seeking a Director of Influencer Strategy to lead the development of our influencer programs. This senior, client-facing role sits at the crossroads of sales, delivery, and strategy to win new business and shape measurable outcomes.

The role requires deep fluency in influencer and affiliate marketing, the ability to collaborate across internal teams, and a track record of turning strategic concepts into executable programs for diverse brands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in influencer marketing, with strategy, program buildout, or new business
• Demonstrated ability to build and present influencer strategies in a business development or client-facing context
• Deep knowledge of influencer/creator ecosystem across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Substack)
• Willingness to learn affiliate marketing and work cross-functionally
• Strong written and verbal communication, client-ready materials
• Ability to synthesize and visualize information independently or with Design
• Experience presenting to senior clients or speaking externally preferred
• Travel willingness for client meetings, team gatherings, and conferences
• Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and delivery teams to build credible influencer strategies for proposals and RFPs
• Define strategy for influencer programs grounded in research and competitive intelligence
• Add narrative context to reporting, linking strategy to outcomes and upsell opportunities
• Provide strategic recommendations and thought leadership throughout the client lifecycle
• Contribute to AP’s external marketing and industry presence via content or speaking engagements
