Job summary

Acceleration Partners, a leading partnership marketing agency, seeks a Director of Influencer Strategy to shape how brands engage creators and scale influencer programs. This is a senior, externally-facing role connecting sales, client services, and delivery.

You will craft credible influencer strategy, archetypes, messaging, and platform recommendations, ensuring proposals are deliverable within budget and scope, and you will work with cross-functional teams to win new clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in influencer marketing with strategy, program buildout, or new business exposure.
• Ability to build and present influencer strategies in a client-facing context.
• Deep knowledge of influencer and creator ecosystem across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Substack and emerging channels.
• Working knowledge of affiliate marketing is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce client-ready materials independently.
• Ability to synthesize and visualize information independently or with Design.
• Experience presenting to senior clients or speaking externally preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, team gatherings, and industry conferences.

Responsibilities

• Strategy-led sales enablement: define influencer strategy for proposals and RFPs, support budget and scope alignment.
• Program strategy & industry intelligence: stay current on influencer trends and competitive intelligence; guide delivery.
• Industry-leading reporting: add narrative context to reports and connect strategy to outcomes.
• Ongoing client support & upsell: provide strategic recommendations and upsell opportunities across the client lifecycle.
• AP marketing & external presence: contribute to AP’s external marketing and thought leadership.
