Job summary

Esperion, a fully remote company with a headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI, seeks a Director of Government Pricing to lead end-to-end pricing compliance for federal and state programs. You will oversee data lifecycle from preparation to analytics, ensuring timely submissions and collaboration with third-party partners.

The role reports to the Executive Director, requires deep government pricing expertise, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including stock-based compensation and bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with government price calculation and reporting for Medicaid, PHS, FSS and state programs.
• Knowledge of general accounting processes and controls.
• Quality management with focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and enterprise-wide accounting systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with others.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Director and Contracting and Pricing teams in daily tasks.
• Handle data preparation, validation, calculation, and analytics for government and commercial contracts.
• Analyze and document submission for federal/state pricing obligations within deadlines (Medicaid, PHS, FSS, etc.).
• Collaborate with third-party partners for state price reporting and government pricing.
• Maintain pricing methodologies and SOPs reflecting current laws and regulations.
• Perform trend analytics and benchmarking to support price changes and negotiations.
• Prepare analytics for senior management on price increases and contract changes.
• Serve as SME for IRA responsibilities and maintain contracts in ESPERION systems.
• Review and validate chargebacks daily and manage communications with customers.
