Job summary

Esperion is seeking a Director of Pricing & Payer Strategy to lead pricing and contracting initiatives across government and commercial programs. The role involves data analytics, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with ED, contracting, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with government price calculation and reporting for Medicaid, PHS, FSS and state programs.
• Knowledge of general accounting processes and controls.
• Quality management; accuracy and thoroughness.
• Proficient in Excel and enterprise accounting systems."
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Independent work with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Support ED, Contracting and Pricing; complete tasks on time.
• Prepare data, validate, calculate and analyze government and commercial contracts.
• Analyze and document mandated product and pricing obligations for federal/state programs.
• Collaborate with 3rd party partners for price transparency reporting and government pricing.
• Lead development of product launch pricing and contracting strategies.
• Monitor contract performance and inform on market trends and competitive actions.
• Assist Account Directors with contract negotiations.
• Develop relationships with key customers in meetings.
• Coordinate insights on industry trends and competitive dynamics.
• Lead innovative contracting initiatives and define implications for key customers.
• Maintain government pricing methodologies and SOPs for government programs.
• Perform trend analytics and benchmark comparisons for calculations.
• Serve as SME for IRA responsibilities.
• Support Market Access activities.
