Job summary

Esperion - The Lipid Management Company in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a Director of Pricing & Payer Strategy to own end-to-end pricing strategy, analytics, and contracting for government and commercial programs. This is a remote-friendly, high-impact leadership role.

You will partner with executive leadership to develop launch pricing, monitor contract performance, and ensure compliance with federal statutes, state programs, and pricing transparency initiatives across the US market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience/education.
• Experience with government price calculation and reporting for state and federal programs (Medicaid, PHS, FSS, etc.).
• Knowledge of general accounting processes and controls.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and enterprise accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the ED, Contracting and Pricing in related matters and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Perform data preparation, validation, calculation and analytics for government and commercial contracts.
• Analyze and document mandated pricing obligations for federal and state programs within required timelines.
• Collaborate with third-party partners handling price transparency reporting and government pricing.
• Lead development of launch pricing and contracting strategies.
• Monitor contract performance and inform on market trends affecting pricing and offers.
• Assist Account Directors with contract negotiations and stakeholder engagement.
• Engage with customers and industry meetings to coordinate insights and strategic initiatives.
