Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking a Director of Energy Infrastructure Engineering for a remote, nationwide role. You will guide engineering strategy, strengthen client partnerships, and shape the growth of a power delivery practice.

You will lead client discussions, coordinate proposals, and ensure sound technical decisions while balancing financial and scheduling considerations. A PE license and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and an active PE license.
• Minimum 12 years of engineering experience; senior/director level preferred.
• Proven experience directing utility/power delivery or electrical transmission programs.
• Strong technical leadership, quality management, and project delivery skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and support business development.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering direction for electrical utility and transmission design programs.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions.
• Oversee project performance across scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Mentor engineers and develop emerging leaders.
