Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to serve as a national subject matter expert in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. You will collaborate with leadership to standardize workflows, drive efficiency, and scale operations across the organization.

The role focuses on M&A integration, workforce planning, and delivering exceptional client service while aligning with IOA values and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Divisional and Regional Leadership to develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity planning to support growth and excellence.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
