Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to act as a national SME in Commercial P&C and agency operations. You will partner with executive leadership to standardize workflows, improve processes, and support growth initiatives, including M&A integration.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering exceptional client service while aligning with IOA values. Remote work is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations and workflows.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to influence leaders in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement to boost productivity and client outcomes.
• Support M&A integration through assessment and workflow alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive results.
