Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to act as a national Subject Matter Expert in Commercial P&C and agency operations. The role partners with leadership to advance objectives, standardize workflows, and optimize performance across the organization.

It also supports M&A integration, workforce planning, and strategic initiatives for client service and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines operations initiatives with senior leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable efficiency improvements.
• Standardize workflows, processes, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process optimization, productivity gains, and quality improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable actions.
• Analyze staffing and demand to support growth and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resource use with goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems (EPIC).
• Support M&A integration through assessments, planning, and alignment.
