Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to act as a national subject matter expert in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. This role partners with leadership to drive standardization, scalability, and performance while supporting producers, account teams, and operational leaders to deliver exceptional client service and shareholder value.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, CPCU and/or CIC designation, and 5–7+ years of leadership in

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Divisional and Regional Leadership to develop and execute commercial lines initiatives.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Support M&A integrations through operational assessments and workflow alignment.
• Promote effective utilization of EPIC, reporting tools, and technology platforms.
