Job summary
Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national commercial property & casualty operations, partnering with senior leaders to drive standardization, efficiency, and exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, active P&C license, CPCU or CIC, and EPIC/agency-operations experience. Remote role with on-site as needed; strong communication and strategic impact.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty License required.
- CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
- 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
- Strong expertise in agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
- Experience with workflow standardization, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
- Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
- Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
- Lead process improvements to boost productivity and client outcomes.
- Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth.
- Support M&A integration and operational transformation.
- Promote EPIC usage and technology optimization.
- Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive results.
