Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director, Solutions Architect for Databolt, a remote-facing role with a salary range of $244,700–$279,200 for remote and Richmond, VA locations. You will lead workshops with CISOs, Data Engineers and other executives, ensure secure cloud migrations to Snowflake and Databricks, and guide multi-cloud deployments with Kubernetes.

This position demands executive presence and strong collaboration with SIs and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Military experience required.
• At least 7 years in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Technical Consulting for enterprise software.
• At least 4 years of experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• At least 3 years of experience with data security technologies.
• At least 4 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Navigate complex stakeholder maps and translate capabilities into business value for CxOs.
• Lead technical discoveries of cloud infrastructure and regulatory constraints.
• Architect scalable solutions aligned with cloud strategy and Kubernetes environments.
• Manage partner engagements with SIs and VARs and ensure proper training.
• Execute POCs to validate Databolt against customer use cases.
• Champion data security and tokenization in line with compliance requirements.
