Job summary

Capital One Software – Databolt seeks a Director, Solutions Architect who blends infrastructure depth, data security, and executive presence to guide strategic accounts. You will bridge legacy architectures to AI-driven modern platforms, lead workshops with CISOs and data engineers, and collaborate with SIs and partners to deliver measurable value across multi-cloud environments.

This role requires guiding secure cloud migrations to Snowflake, Databricks, and other data warehouses, ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Military experience required.
• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Technical Consulting for enterprise software.
• 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Container Orchestration.
• 3+ years of experience with Data Security technologies (Tokenization, Encryption, Key Management, IAM).
• 4+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Navigate complex stakeholder maps and translate technical capabilities into business value for executives.
• Lead technical discoveries of customer environments, cloud infra, data pipelines, and regulatory constraints.
• Architect scalable solutions and document implementation plans for multi-cloud deployments.
• Manage partner engagements with SIs and VARs, ensuring proper training and alignment.
• Execute proofs of concept (POCs) and validate solutions against customer use cases.
• Champion data security and tokenization best practices aligned with compliance requirements.
