Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director, Solutions Architect for the Databolt offering within Capital One Software. This remote role anchors technical strategy for key enterprise accounts, bridging legacy environments with AI-enabled data privacy initiatives.

You will lead executive workshops, align C‑Suite stakeholders, and collaborate with SI partners to drive value and secure cloud migrations. You will guide secure cloud migrations to modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks), shape AI/privacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Military experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Technical Consulting for enterprise software.
• 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Container Orchestration.
• 3+ years of experience with Data Security technologies (Tokenization, Encryption, Key Management, IAM).
• 4+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Navigate complex stakeholder maps and translate technical capabilities into business value for CxOs.
• Lead technical discoveries of customer environments including cloud infra, data pipelines, and regulatory constraints.
• Architect scalable solutions with clear implementation plans for multi-cloud Kubernetes environments.
• Manage partner engagements with System Integrators to align with architectural standards.
• Execute POCs and champion data security practices including tokenization vs. encryption.
