Job summary

Providence is seeking a Director Billing and Collections - Remote to lead billing and follow-up activities for all Providence retained billing offices. The role oversees insurance and self-pay accounts receivable, ensuring billing compliance and efficient revenue cycle workflows across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Public Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in accounts receivable management.
• 8 years of leadership experience.
• 5 years of experience in medical revenue cycle management.
• 3 years of significant executive-level relationship management experience.
• Demonstrated experience standardizing complex and disparate processes and maintaining common processes to standards across multiple facilities and settings.
• Healthcare business operations and/or financial management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated experience managing all aspects of billing follow-up, denial management, reporting and reimbursement recovery, including patient accounting, third-party payer billing, and EDI billing experience.
