Job summary

Providence is seeking a Director Billing and Collections to lead remote operations across the system. You will oversee billing follow-up, denial management, reporting, and reimbursement recovery for insured and self-pay accounts, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong financial performance.

This leadership role partners with clinics, finance, contracting, compliance, coding, and vendor partners to standardize processes, optimize revenue cycle workflows, and meet AR goals while enhancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of accounts receivable management experience.
• 8 years of leadership experience.
• 5 years of medical revenue cycle management experience.
• 3 years of executive-level relationship management experience.
• Experience standardizing complex processes across multiple facilities.
• Healthcare operations/financial management experience in healthcare.
• Experience managing billing follow-up, denial management, reporting and reimbursement recovery including patient accounting, third-party payer billing, and EDI billing.
