Job summary

Providence is seeking a Director Billing and Collections to lead remote AR operations for our Providence retained offices. You will oversee billing follow-up, denial management, reporting, and reimbursement recovery across the system to optimize revenue cycle performance.

You will collaborate with clinics, finance, contracting, compliance, coding, and vendor partners to drive standardization, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient and provider experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/healthcare administration or related field.
• 10+ years in accounts receivable management.
• 8 years of leadership experience.
• 5 years in medical revenue cycle management.
• 3 years of executive-level relationship management experience.
• Experience standardizing complex processes across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing and follow-up for Providence retained offices.
• Manage insurance and self-pay AR and ensure billing compliance.
• Collaborate across clinics and departments to optimize revenue cycle workflows.
• Drive initiatives to improve collections, reduce AR, and enhance patient/provider experience.
• Lead strategies with clinics, finance, contracting, and vendors to achieve A/R goals.
