Job summary

PEAC Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Director of Asset Management to lead our asset management unit for Construction, Transportation, Industrial, and Material Handling assets. This role involves setting residuals, valuations, remarketing strategies, and end-of-term management under the VP, Head of Asset Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years of equipment finance, leasing, or Asset Management experience, preferably within construction, transportation, material handling, or industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of equipment valuation, residual risk, remarketing, and end-of-term strategies.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and portfolio data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong relationship-management skills with dealers, manufacturers, and other industry partners.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish residual values and current market valuations for construction, transportation, material handling, and industrial equipment.
• Develop and maintain residual matrices, conduct annual residual reviews, monitor portfolio performance, identify potential triggering events, and recommend impairment or risk-mitigation actions when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of CT&I equipment markets, industry trends, technology, regulations, supply and demand, and other factors impacting values.
• Develop and execute strategies for sale of off-lease and repossessed equipment; manage returns, inspections, repossessions, and disposition activities.
• Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities to improve residual performance, remarketing results, and end-of-term income.
• Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, manufacturers, auction houses, brokers, inspection providers, and other remarketing channels.
• Lead Asset Management team members and collaborate with Sales, Credit, Operations, Collections, Finance, and Legal; present results to VP.
