Job summary

SH/FT is seeking a Director of Email Development & QA to lead a 10–15 person team delivering pixel-perfect campaigns for a Fortune 100 financial services client. You will own the production ecosystem, drive automation, ensure 100% SLA compliance, and guide AI integration within workflows.

You will report to the SVP, Managing Director and shape pre‑sale scoping, development standards, and cross-functional collaboration across marketing, data, and technology teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in email engineering and related domains.
• 4+ years leading technical teams in an agency or consulting setting.
• Proven expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
• Strong ability to scope work and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience piloting or implementing AI-native development practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of 10–15 developers and QA specialists across NA and offshore, ensuring performance and SLAs.
• Define standards and culture for high-quality, reusable code and responsive design systems.
• Architect and optimize end-to-end development and QA pipelines for efficiency and profitability.
• Lead AI-enabled workflows and tool integrations across the team for improved outcomes.
• Manage client engagements from scoping to delivery with hands-on guidance when needed.
