Job summary

Clarios, the Maxwell division, is seeking a Director of Product Planning to lead AI data center power strategy. You will translate market trends into actionable roadmaps and drive growth opportunities with hyperscaler customers and ecosystem partners.

You will collaborate with Sales, Applications Engineering, Systems Solution Engineering, and Core Product Engineering to shape long-term direction and ensure energy storage solutions meet future AI-driven data center needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product management, product planning, strategic marketing, business development, or related leadership roles.
• Experience working directly with hyperscale data center customers and cloud service providers.
• Strong understanding of data center electrical infrastructure, power generation, power distribution, energy storage, and backup power systems.
• Experience developing product roadmaps and commercial strategies for technology-based products.
• Proven ability to influence product development based on customer and market requirements.
• Experience engaging with executive-level customer stakeholders.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to evaluate and structure growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with hyperscaler customers, cloud service providers, and key industry stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap aligned with AI data centers, hyperscalers, and critical power infrastructure markets.
• Drive specification and design-in wins by translating customer requirements into actionable opportunities.
• Partner with engineering leadership to define future product requirements and portfolio expansion.
• Establish business cases and market assessments for new development initiatives.
• Serve as subject matter expert on AI data center power architectures and energy storage systems.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to executives.
• Assess competitive offerings and emerging market opportunities.
• Develop market forecasts and inform product investment decisions.
• Assist in long-range strategic planning and portfolio management.
