Job summary

Clarios, a leader in energy storage solutions, seeks a Director of Product Planning to shape Maxwell's AI data center power strategy. You will build executive relationships with hyperscalers, translate market trends into roadmaps, and drive portfolio evolution across energy storage and grid-resiliency solutions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Applications Engineering, and Core Product Engineering to guide long-term direction and ensure offerings meet hyperscale demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Systems, or related technical field required.
• MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, product planning, strategic marketing, business development, or related leadership roles.
• Experience with hyperscale data center customers and cloud service providers.
• Strong understanding of data center electrical infrastructure, power generation, energy storage, backup power systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with hyperscaler customers, cloud service providers, and industry stakeholders.
• Create a multi-year product roadmap aligned with AI data centers and critical power infrastructure markets.
• Translate customer requirements into opportunities and define future product requirements.
• Partner with engineering leadership to set performance targets and portfolio expansion.
• Develop business cases and market assessments for new initiatives.
• Serve as Maxwell's SME on AI data center power architectures and energy storage solutions.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to executives.
• Assess competitors and emerging market opportunities.
• Lead customer engagements as a senior product/technology representative.
• Develop market forecasts and inform product investment decisions.
