National General Holdings Corp. is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by acquiring new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships.

This role works with local partners and in-store and phone-based sales. You will maintain a strong sales pipeline, develop community relationships, and stay informed on products and underwriting guidelines to meet performance and customer experience standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attainrequired licensure within90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
