Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Direct Sales Representative for the Merchant Payment Services division. This home-based role covers the southeastern U.S., with travel required to meet merchants and expand the client base across Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Public Sector.

You will drive new business, manage pipelines, demonstrate product value, and build lasting client partnerships while aligning with regional growth goals and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of relevant sales experience.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new merchant clients across verticals while developing territory.
• Conduct product demonstrations and articulate value proposition.
• Manage sales pipeline using Salesforce and other CRM tools.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Execute customer retention strategies to reduce churn.
• Identify opportunities in high-growth geographies and verticals.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and interactions.
