Job summary

For Our Future Action Fund in Michigan is seeking a Digital Program Manager to lead online and offline volunteer mobilization. You will develop digital content strategies, advise state leadership and collaborate across teams to expand voter engagement.

This remote-friendly role requires 2–4 years in digital content and campaigns, with a knack for internet culture, Canva/Adobe tools, and strong writing. Expect up to 25% travel and a compensation range of $60,000 to $67,000.

Qualifications

• Must be based in Michigan
• 2–4 years of experience in digital content development and social media management
• Experience with digital organizing and planning in support of field, electoral, and/or issue campaigns
• Experience building, managing, and engaging volunteer communities
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, internet culture, and emerging digital trends
• Excellent written communication skills and a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member in a busy office with enthusiasm and humor
• Experience in politics or organizing environments; IEOs preferred
• Creativity and proficiency with Canva/Adobe CreativeSuite preferred
• Comfortable using digital mediums to collect stories (video/photography); editing skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an innovative Network organizing program focused on online and offline volunteer recruitment, retention, and voter engagement within each region
• Serve as the digital lead for the state, advising leadership and developing bespoke digital content
• Set statewide and regional digital organizing priorities and allocate resources
• Monitor Network Organizing KPIs and coach Regional Directors to maximize content and program efficacy
• Create and execute long and short-term digital content strategies, including social plans
• Meet with Regional Directors to provide strategic direction for digital communications
• Oversee growth and management of the Network Organizing volunteer community and training
• Collaborate with National Digital Organizing Manager on content development and trend analysis
• Integrate digital strategy across communications and organizing teams
• Build and host virtual training sessions for volunteer leaders
• Track national/state trends and translate insights into actionable suggestions
• Other duties may be assigned
