Job summary

NextGen America is seeking a distributed organizing leader to run a fully remote program that builds and trains digital volunteer teams to engage young voters. You’ll supervise peer-to-peer texting and other distributed outreach, and coordinate with a nationwide team to hit 2026 mobilization goals.

The role demands strong writing, organizational skills, and experience growing online communities or training volunteers. This is a remote, exempt position with diverse benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and managing peer‑to‑peer texting campaigns.
• Experience in field or digital campaigns, volunteer training, or growing online communities.
• Excellent writing, copyediting and proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Execute a distributed organizing program to recruit, train, and mobilize remote volunteers.
• Run regular P2P campaigns including data requests, scripts, QA, launches and debriefs.
• Draft training guides, templates and toolkits for volunteers across channels.
• Lead trainings and coach volunteers before, during and after shifts.
• Pull data metrics and write progress reports on direct voter contact impact.
• Recruit, train and engage volunteer leaders.
• Be a digital community manager and administrator.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
