Job summary

United for Respect seeks an Electoral Organizer to empower volunteers and supporters to engage voters and organize their networks for upcoming elections. This remote role supports a campaign focused on mobilizing low‑wage workers and building leadership across Michigan and Georgia.

The position emphasizes relationship building, communication, and scalable training for diverse communities, with supervisory oversight from the Political & Policy Manager.

Qualifications

• At least two electoral cycles of experience, one cycle of distributed organizing preferred.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with GetThru Suite, VAN/EveryAction, and Google Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with diverse teams.
• Experience with electoral, union, or community organizing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mobilize, and train volunteers statewide to contact voters and engage personal networks.
• Track outreach in EveryAction/VAN and submit daily reports.
• Plan and execute actions, events, and trainings including phone banks, text banks, and online meetings.
• Build relationships with campaign partners and progressive leaders for events and activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
