Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
• 6+ years of technology software development experience, including leading project teams or major delivery workstreams.
• Hands-on coding with Java and Spring Boot, including microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks, preferably Angular or React, guiding full-stack decisions.
• Experience deploying enterprise apps on a major cloud platform.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, containers, testing, and code-quality gates.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, including planning, backlog, and release planning.
• Experience leading distributed teams across geographies and stakeholders.
• Mentorship and coaching to improve engineering practices and team capability.
• Experience with asynchronous/event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar).
• Experience with logging/monitoring/observability (Splunk or similar).
• Knowledge of Hadoop/Spark/Flink for data processing.
• Ability to manage delivery risks and client communications in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery across planning, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and technical proofs-of-concept.
• Guide solution design using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and UI frameworks.
• Plan and manage Agile delivery, including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Coordinate work across geographically distributed teams and ensure clear ownership.
• Mentor engineers through coaching, reviews, and career development.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate requirements into delivery plans.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risks, and deliverables; elevate impediments with actions.
