Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice delivering care for women and children across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. The network includes clinicians providing telehealth nutrition visits and comprehensive support to join as a nationwide independent contractor RD/RDN.

Dietitians are compensated per visit with no guaranteed minimum visits or earnings; 60–70 USD per active visit hour is typical.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National RD/RDN credential and Indiana license.
• Minimum 10 patient-facing hours per week commitment.
• 3+ years' experience delivering evidence-based nutrition therapy for metabolic syndrome, weight loss, osteopenia/osteoporosis, gut health, and plant-forward diets.
• Proficient with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions.
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video calls to facilitate lifestyle change.
• Support patients in a multi-week program to improve symptoms and sustain behavior change.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for visits conducted through Pomelo.
• Follow applicable clinical, privacy, quality, and compliance standards.
