Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, seeks an Account Executive to drive new business in the Western Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware region. This remote field-based role requires hunter skills to expand Abbott’s diagnostics footprint by acquiring new key accounts and delivering revenue growth in hospitals and laboratories.

The ideal candidate will manage the full sales lifecycle, cultivate relationships with C-suite and lab leadership, and collaborate with the Enterprise Account Manager

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree minimum.
• 4 years of sales experience or other applicable commercial experience.
• Demonstrated success in hunting and closing new business in a complex sales environment.

Responsibilities

• New Business Acquisition: identify opportunities in the territory and convert them into new key accounts in hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare systems.
• Sales Execution: manage full lifecycle of opportunities, working with decision-makers to improve performance with Abbott Core Diagnostics products.
• Account Management: build relationships across stakeholders and coordinate with Enterprise Account Manager to win in larger hospital systems.
