Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Account Executive to manage North and South Carolina in Abbott Core Diagnostics. This role focuses on hunting and closing new business, expanding Abbott’s diagnostic footprint.

You will travel up to 50% and engage with hospitals, labs, and healthcare systems to drive revenue growth in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s or equivalent, plus strong B2B sales experience, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s + 2 years sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in capital sales.
• Proven hunter with success in closing new business in complex sales environments.
• Willingness to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition across the NC/SC territory by identifying opportunities in hospitals, laboratories and healthcare systems.
• Manage the full lifecycle of opportunities, coordinating with key decision-makers to improve performance using Abbott Core Diagnostics products.
• Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders (laboratory, procurement, medical directors, executives) to secure and expand accounts.
