Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Account Executive for Core Diagnostics to expand our footprint across Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi, and Western Missouri. This hunter role focuses on identifying and winning new key hospital and lab accounts in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage end-to-end sales cycles, build relationships across stakeholders from laboratory to C-suite, and collaborate with the Enterprise Account Manager on large opportunities. Travel up to 80% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s degree with 2 years of sales experience or other applicable commercial experience.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferrable in capital sales.
• You must be based in territory and travel up to 80%. Will include overnights.

Responsibilities

• New Business Acquisition: Drive market share growth by identifying opportunities and cultivating these into new business opportunities to secure new key accounts within hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare systems.
• Sales Execution: Manage the entire lifecycle of new business opportunities, partnering with customer decision-makers to enhance their performance using the Abbott Core Diagnostics product portfolio.
• Account Management: Gain understanding of client goals and objectives through strong relationship skills across multiple stakeholders, collaborating with the Enterprise Account Manager to secure business in larger hospital systems.
