Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in diagnostic radiology coding.
• Certification: RCC, CPC, CCS-P or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and radiology guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review outpatient radiology and ancillary-service documentation for accurate coding.
• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes including modifiers.
• Code radiology modalities (ultrasound, CT/CTA, MRI, nuclear medicine).
• Ensure compliance with LCD, NCD, and CCI guidelines and identify coding edits.
• Support billing, denials resolution, and documentation clarification.
