Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a full-time Cardiology Coder to support our growing healthcare practice in a remote environment. The coder will review documentation, assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and uphold coding standards.

This role requires 2+ years of professional fee coding, cardiology experience preferred, AHIMA or AAPC credential, and strong MS Office skills. You will stay current with coding guidelines while maintaining productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional fee coding experience, cardiology preferred.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential (CPC, CCS-P, CCS, CCA, RHIT, RHIA, COC, or related).
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Able to meet a 95% quality standard while maintaining productivity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Code cardiology services, including catheterization, electrophysiology, and echocardiograms.
• Review medical records to ensure diagnoses and procedures are supported by documentation.
• Stay current on coding guidelines and regulations while maintaining productivity and quality.
