Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Arizona offers a fully remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing role serving K–12 students statewide through virtual, school-based services.

You will focus on accessibility, consultation, instructional support, and collaboration with educational teams to ensure deaf or hard of hearing students have access to instruction.

The position follows the academic calendar with no onsite travel and opportunities to support students across multiple grade levels.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
• Active Arizona certification/licensure for Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
• School-based experience supporting DHH students preferred.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, consultation, accommodations, and assistive technology.
• Virtual or remote service delivery experience preferred.
• Teaching certification may be required depending on district.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual instructional support and consultation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEP goals and communication plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families
• Recommend and support assistive technology, accessibility tools, and accommodations
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Help ensure instructional materials and learning strategies are accessible to individual students
