Job summary

HelloHero is seeking a Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support K–12 students remotely across Georgia. Work is school-day aligned, with 1099 or W2 options and part-time to full-time flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia PSC endorsement for Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is required.
• Experience in school-based settings (1 year minimum preferred).
• Experience with IEPs and school-based collaboration.
• Comfortable using technology for virtual service delivery and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver deaf and hard of hearing services aligned with IEP goals.
• Support students with hearing impairments in accessing instruction and communication supports.
• Collaborate with school teams, families, interpreters, and related service providers.
• Develop goals and track student progress.
• Complete documentation and progress reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team collaboration.
