Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a dedicated educator to provide specialized instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a dynamic school setting. The role is full-time, starting in early August and running through late May, with onsite preferred but qualified virtual candidates considered.

You will develop and implement IEPs, assess progress, and collaborate with interpreters, general educators, and support staff to foster accessibility and student achievement in a welcoming classroom

Qualifications

  • Current Standard Professional Certificate is required.
  • Completed Deaf/Hard of Hearing (K-12) Endorsement.
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Card is required.
  • Experience supporting Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in a K-12 setting.
  • Ability to deliver differentiated instruction and accessibility strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different educational settings and student needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement individualized IEPs for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students.
  • Assess student needs, progress, and goals.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and support staff.
  • Use specialized teaching methods and technologies to support learning.
  • Provide consultative support to staff and families for student success.

Job description
