Job summary

Resend is building the modern email sending platform for developers. Join our DevTools Squad to work across SDKs, React Email, CLI, MCP, and integrations, helping developers build within their workflows.

This fully remote role covers Americas and European time zones, with travel for team offsites. You will collaborate with engineers to define robust APIs, tooling, and documentation, shipping reliable, developer-friendly software.

Qualifications

• Have strong backend engineering experience building and maintaining APIs or services in production.
• Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Understand authentication, authorization, retries, idempotency, rate limits, and partial failures.
• Have built software that other developers depend on and maintain it responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain developer tools to integrate across languages, frameworks, and environments.
• Build and operate services that support developer tools and integrations.
• Collaborate with product squads on clear API contracts and consistent behavior across SDKs, CLI, MCP, and documentation.
• Create interfaces developers use to work with Resend (MCP, skills, and CLI).
• Manage compatibility, testing, releases, and upgrades for dependable shipping.
• Develop shared tooling to help squads ship changes confidently.
• Engage with developers through support, GitHub issues, and pull requests.
