Job summary

Core4ce is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to deliver containerization, cloud, and systems engineering for a large DoD program. The role includes securing Kubernetes, deploying hardened clusters, and supporting DoD compliance.

The candidate should have an active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one, 7+ years Linux admin, 5+ years Kubernetes experience with Rancher/OpenShift, and AWS proficiency. Remote-friendly in the United States with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Seven years of Linux admin experience, preferably RHEL.
• Five years designing and deploying hardened Kubernetes clusters and clusters like Rancher/OpenShift.
• Experience with AWS including EKS, EC2, S3, EBS, Load-Balancers, RDS.
• DoD environment experience navigating network, access, and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Engineering new container services.
• Sustain existing container orchestration systems.
• Support system architecture design and implementation efforts.
• Manage accounts and network rights.
• Ensure Kubernetes environment availability and configuration.
• Implement security procedures and tools.
• Document system administration SOPs.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and interoperability issues.
• Manage system fixes, updates, and enhancements.
• Apply information security policies and practices.
